![]() Otherwise DVDStyler will offer to re-encode them in order to fit the target. In case the size of your source video will fit the target size as is then they are used (Copy). Once the bitrate drops below 2 Mb/s a warning will be issued that you'll get poor quality. ) DVDStyler will adjust the bitrate to fit your target. ![]() When your playtime exceed this (provided you use "Auto" for bitrate in DVD -> Options. As long as the playtime of your video is sufficient low to fit your target at a bitrate of 8 Mb/s this will be used (Shown in the right hand bottom of DVDStyler) DVDStyler caps off the bitrate for the video at 8 Mb/s. The maximum bitrate (video+audio) that can be used on a DVD is 10.08 Mb/s. I believe that in some cases it may take some time to find a suitable frame to fill out a frame type button?.Ħ) I don't quite understand what you mean by file that is too big and I only see a minutes indicator Some details attached.ĥ) Again I think this depend on several factors and in particular the video source and the type of buttons used. Ie almost 5 times as much time used by Tipard as for DVDStyler. Tipard : 48 min 35 sec DVDStyler : 10 min 33 sec Knowing that other features and changes need time for further development. If the 'access denied' issue will be solved, I will for sure be a big fan. Can I expect such feature from DVDStyler in the future too? Other programs offer the option to compress the file a bit, so that it still fits on the DVD, but in a slightly lower quality. What I miss is a feature to warn me if I add a file that is too big. Would a progress bar not make more sense?Ħ. In the meantime there is a 'non responding' message. It can take minutes before a certain movie appears. DVDStyler fails to burn: This happens even before the burning process begins. Also when ADDING movie files DVDStyler is often very slow. How come they are so much faster than the competition, including DVDStyler?ĥ. ![]() Tipard is by far the fastest and most stable of all DVD creation tools I tested. Just a minor suggestion: include the disc-name box in the main menu, often the disc name is (about) the same as the main menu title and it is convenient to adjust them both in the same menu box.Ĥ. In user-friendliness DVDStyler wins it by FAR from (paid) Tipard. How come the 'access is denied' does NOT appear all the time on my system, just unpredictable? Many movies have no problem, others do.ģ. Any idea when you could have implemented the change you described above?Ģ. Please allow me a few other (related and non related) questions then:ġ. Ah, good news from the developer himself.
